Unbearably, I'm afraid again you can't believe what you haven't seen Unbearably, I'm afraid again I can't believe what I haven't seen This malady; it's strange to me Tiring, it consumes myself and the rest

So I'm out to lunch and I think to myself: "I'm not in a hurry, so why not cause a stir?" I gravitate to trouble, but I'm not a mess I'm telling you, though, this is my life, that's yours You can't erase your meaning It doesn't matter how much, it doesn't matter how much despite how a road seems to lead it's easy to fall back And I know, I'm not hopin' for a change in your meaning I've got coffee in a raincoat I'm enlightened with your write-in You can't erase your meaning It doesn't matter how much, it doesn't matter how much despite how a road seems to lead it's easy to fall back I wasn't ready; you weren't right for me It doesn't matter how much, it doesn't matter how much To figure this out, I wasn't right for you It doesn't matter how much, it doesn't matter how much You can't erase your meaning It doesn't matter how much, it doesn't matter how much

Melodee 04:41
My guess is you can't rest Are you pretending about it? If it's all the same to you I can't help you I must know; have you seen my watch? It's white At night I look for you You've been gone for weeks Oh Melodee, my sweet I miss you Running around again I haven't decided if I've got one left I haven't decided yet Oh Melodee, your voice is gone Electric currents at your throat We can't explain, but you wanna play Mistakes were made, but we want you to stay Can we please just play, can we please just play? Mistakes were made, but we want you to stay Running around again I haven't decided if I've got one left haven't decided Running around again I haven't decided yet I can't relay to you what I wanted to say What I wanted to say I can't relay to you what I wanted to say Can we please just play? Hey Melodee, let's dance around the living room You're not much older than me, but you see You're my oldest memory Can we please just play, can we please just? She didn't cry She couldn't see why but she misses you and we miss you too

Sing it! 03:02
I'm already going out on a limb You wrote about it with your head in the sand How about you sell me your soul? I've got a shovel and this never gets old I'm already going out on a limb This thought is trademarked, I don't know how How about you sell me your soul? How about you sell me your...? Hapless, haunted I see you go about your day, unafraid Hapless, haunted I see you go about your day, unafraid Everyone's innocent according to you There's nothing to sing about then A lack of guilt on your part shows that There's nothing to sing about then Hapless, haunted I see you go about your day, unafraid Hapless, haunted I see you go about your day, unafraid I see you go about your day, unafraid How about you sell me your soul? How about you sell me your soul, whole? Everyone's innocent according to you There's nothing to sing about then A lack of guilt on your part shows that There's nothing to sing about then Hapless, haunted, there's nothing to sing about then Hapless, haunted, there's nothing to sing about

Withstand 03:43
What a stunning picture We couldn't see you despite all the efforts made in conjunction with your family They would beg to differ Don't hold your breath It's so hard to be left out, I know It's so hard to be left out, I know It's a solemn swear from me that you'll try again to be whole again Creeping forward the time goes there's a chance I'll see where to I won't ask how but I expect answers It's so hard to be left out, I know (they beg to differ) It's so hard to be left out, I know (don't hold your breath) It's so hard to be left out, I know (we're in this together) It's so hard to be left out, I know

Sparingly 03:37
I'm used to being far away Not used to home Just try it once and go back Lacking in transportation So just walk for now People moving sucks Walk for now But I don't know you What would I amount to? Diverting gaze It's a really really long way To the other side Where you'd be hard pressed to see anything Bills are due Take away the water But not from us We need to keep the scores up For our lovely patrons But I don't know you What would I amount to? Diverting gaze It's a really really long way To the other side Where you'd be hard pressed to see anything Anything that you'd be proud to say you did I know you could not see me as you passed by I can't believe you
8.
Heavens, No! 02:48
And to that we say resoundingly, no What did you do instead? All that power without a plan While I'm going through the current, I have to say: No one here is gonna think about what you did today No, a drain won't stop the flow Carry the beat to try not to miss the boat Hope, you can't believe how much hope These tiny things, these tiny things that no seems to know How to do, how to do, how to do Atrophy, behind the scenes Is it unforeseen or happening? At what point does it become unsustainable, attainable Can it take, can it take more? Can it take? Can it take, can it take more? Can it take? More from you, more from you, more from you? Can it take more from you? Atrophy, behind the scenes Is it unforeseen or happening? Atrophy, behind the scenes Is it unforeseen or happening?

I've tried to think about it at every stage It doesn't compete It bears repeating now If trying harder progresses my mind Even when I deviate, I'll try to tape it down I'll run into my house Where I can roam about I can't believe it's gone You'll reap your inner gold Where I can't seem to take hold I can't believe it's gone Would you like to compare machines? Would you like to compare machines? Was that pouring out of your brain? I think it rots in me Was that pouring out of your brain? I think it rots in me (It's not even that hard to see the truth Thinking I've been here every time of year) Try not to think about A single shred of thought I can't believe it's gone (It's the evidence that I refuse to see) (It's the evidence that I refuse to see) Was that pouring out of your brain? I think it rots in me Is that a task I can complete? You sing while I sleep I sleep Trust me with your evergreen Trust me with your evergreen Do you want to compare machines? Do you want to compare machines? Do you want to compare machines? Do you want to compare machines? Do you?

I can't see the sky Without it breakin' It's there in contrast I'm with you The fan's off Sleep won't come tonight But that's alright The conversation conceals the truth There's nothing that prevents this ruse Keep the time 'Cause I can't keep it for you Regardless I will The fan's off Sleep won't come tonight But that's alright The conversation conceals the truth There's nothing that prevents this ruse I can't imagine you in my mind but there you are every time Every time I could be you You wouldn't be Be still my heart Rewind Let fall It's hard to hear the cries inside you You see, the trees don't fall without you I can't see the sky Without it breakin' It's there in contrast I'm with you It may appear like I don't have the strength Inside I'm crying but I'll through (But I'd be lying) The wind blew us apart for the better (if I said to you) And now I'm alright Yet still no better than you

Triteware 04:32
It goes without saying that you know It goes without saying that a collector's mind grows I can abide by, I can abide by your rules I can abide by, I can abide by your rules And all I hear Is one more noise That breaks the glass It's all... And I know, I know you It goes without saying that you know A sickened killer inside your room Can't tell you how they know you Despite their reason to kill you too I can't abide by, I can't by their rules I can't abide by, I can't by their rules And all I hear Is one more noise That breaks the glass It's all in two Go out of your way to see my face Go out of your way to see my face Go out of your way, go out of your way Go out of your way to see me And I know, I know you Haven't seen me try And I know, I know you Haven't seen me try And I know you haven't been lucky And it's impossible to move on from this To move on from this

about

Conversed Inversional is both a deeply personal and deeply removed album to me. It spans a wide range of topics and emotions I've felt strongly about a varying moments and periods through my life. It contains material I've written between my early college years and now, so the range here is roughly 10 years. A lot of things have happened during this time, and naturally it was extremely important to my growth as a human.

Musically, I've drawn lots of influence from artists all over various genres, most notably Minus the Bear, Paramore, Into It. Over It., Pinback, The Sea and Cake, Radiohead, Nujabes, Nas, Toby Fox, Anamanaguchi, tricot, Spawn of Possession and Necrophagist.

This project started as early as 2012 in some ways, which started with the beginnings of Detwasuru. Most of the songs on this release were written around the same time, so it felt wrong to release them separately.

These songs were my first attempt at actually singing and trying to sing somewhat competently. Lyrics had never been something I ever thought about before, and they presented a new challenge that I relished.
There is no consistent theme in this regard. The subject matter is all over the board regarding relationships, politics, checking my privilege, and yes, cute dogs that I miss dearly.

I sincerely hope you enjoy this release. Here's to hoping this is only the beginning.
